Stand Up Paddleboarding “SUP” Yoga

SUP YOGA with Angela

at

Whitemills Wake Park, Sandwich, Kent

Angela is delighted to add SUP Yoga to her offerings – as a fully qualified BSUPA Supta Training Academy Level 3 Sup Yoga Instructor-  and her BSUPA Level 1 SUP Instructor qualification/license – you can be sure of a great fun, safe and relaxed session on the water.

Exchange your yoga mat for a floating one! No need to have any experience at paddle boarding. Each session is a mix of mindfulness and hatha yoga and is a great way to improve balance, build core strength and aid flexibility. Let go and feel the water ease you into your postures. During your practice there are modifications and variations so you can practice at your own level based on how you feel on the day. The board will move and you will be tethered to a docking station so no worry about floating away.

£25 per person (Adults 18+) with own kit, or add an extra £10 if wishing to hire kit from Angela. Places are limited to 7 so booking with Angela is required.

What to wear?

Normal active wear is fine or swimwear if hot. Remember sunscreen, hats & glasses if the sun is shining. Although taking a dip in the water doesn’t often happen it’s good to be prepared and bring a towel and some dry clothes. If a little cool then layers and a windproof jacket will also help. Prior to attending any class you will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire. This will be emailed to you prior to your booked session.

The address of the Wakepark is:
Ash Road, Sandwich, Kent. CT13 9JB and they open the gates at 8am, so you can pump up your board (if bringing your own) and be ready to launch on the water for 08:15.  Due to the nature of the activity and location, I cannot accept late arrivals.
